Hyundai Venue is all set to be launched in the Indian market on May 21, 2019. The South-Korean automaker has already unveiled the sub-compact SUV and India would be the first market on a global level to get it. Yesterday, we told you that the company has started accpeting orders for the Venue across all its authorized dealerships at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Now, we have the access to the variant details of the SUV in both petrol and diesel fuel trims. Hyundai Venue SUV will have a total of 13 variants: 8 petrol and 5 diesel.

It has already been revealed that Hyundai Venue will be introduced in four engine-transmission options. The petrol variants powered by the 1.2L Kappa engine and 5-speed manual gearbox will be offered in the entry-level E and S grades. This petrol engine, also doing duties to the i20 hatchback, will belt out top power of 83bhp.  The diesel variants will fetch power from the 1.4L U2 CRDi engine, which also does duties to the Verna sedan and generates maximum power output of 90bhp. It will be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission while being available in five trim levels: E, S, SX, SX dual tone and SX (O). For those asking, Hyundai Venue is being locally developed at the Chennai production facility.

As announced by Hyundai earlier, the Venue SUV will debut the 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged GDI petrol engine in India. The new engine will develop peak power of 120bhp and highest torque of 172Nm. It would be on offer with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a first-in-segment 7-speed dual clutch auto tranmsission. The manual variants can be availed in four variants: S, SX, SX dual tone and SX (O). On the other hand, the 7-speed DCT unit will be limited to just two variants – S and the range-topping SX+. Last but not the least, Hyundai will introduce the Venue SUV in a total of 10 exterior colors, out of which 7 will be single tone shades and 3 will be dual-tone colors. The single tone colors are Polar White, Denim Blue paint, Star Dust, Deep Forest, Fiery Red, Lava Orange and Typhoon Silver while the dual tone are Polar White/Phantom Black, Denim Blue/Polar White and Lava Orange/Phantom Black.
